Technology in Music Education
This research is to find out about the way technology interplays in music education, in particular how technology is used by teachers to make their jobs easier but also to assist students both inside and outside the classroom. You have been invited to participate in this study because you are working, or have recently worked in the music education industry throughout the world. If you decide to participate, you will be complete an online survey that will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. If you complete the survey by 29 February 2020, you will go into a draw to win a $100 gift voucher.
All information collected in this survey shall remain anonymous and be kept confidential by the researcher who will maintain the privacy of those responding to the survey. By clicking the link to the survey form, you consent to the research team collecting and using personal information about you for the research project. All this information will be treated confidentially and will be de-identified.
The researcher will maintain strict confidentiality as to the identity of research participants by keeping the coding and surveys separately. We would like to store your information for future use in research projects that are an extension of this research project. In all instances your information will be treated confidentially. We plan to analyse, discuss and publish the results of the research in a peer-review journal article in late 2020 or early 2021. In any publication, information will be provided in such a way that you cannot be identified.
